The Charity Motor Club, formerly the Mohawk Valley Lunch Club, started out as a few car enthusiasts getting together, having lunch and talking cars. As time went by, more people began joining and we said "We could put this time to good use!" So we began raising money. At each lunch meeting part of the lunch fee going into a fund that, once a year, is dispersed among several local charities such as Feed Our Vets, Pathfinder Village, Joseph's Experience, local Humane Societies and the Kurt Wyman Memorial Park. The club has grown to over 200 members from its original few. The Lunches continue to be held at various local restaurants that have been instrumental in helping the organization grow and raise money for these charities.
